Delphine Griffith

Delphine graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in New York, with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences with concentrations in Environmental Science, Music, and Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies. After graduating, Delphine served as GrizzlyCorps Rural Climate Fellow through an AmeriCorps program in Redding, CA, where they focused on regenerative agriculture, rotational grazing, vegetation management, and community resilience in terms of wildfire. During this time, Delphine became interested in prescribed burning and has since participated in many PBA and TREX burns throughout Butte, Trinity, Shasta, and Siskiyou Counties. Delphine joined the SVRCD in September 2021 with enthusiasm about community and Indigenous-led prescribed burning, sustainable forest management, and creating resilient and adaptive ecosystems.
