Jerry Jordan acquired a B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Humboldt State University and has since worked for 23 years with the US Forest Service. 19+ years on the Shasta Trinity NF and 3+ years on the Klamath NF. He has a wide range of experience with the FS which includes: Timber Sale Administration, Timber Sale Preparation, Timber Stand Improvement, Wildlife, Wilderness Patrol, and Trails. Jerry has also worked with private consultant companies doing biological surveys and private landowners in Trinity County on forest restoration and fuels reduction projects.
Jerry's work experience has positioned him well to be a member of the SVRCD Forestry Team. He is very passionate about forest health and natural resource management. Jerry is excited to be working with the SVRCD and looking forward to helping landowners and federal land managing agencies with implementing fuels reduction and forest restoration projects.
