Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District

The Shasta Valley RCD was originally organized to benefit agriculture
within the district boundaries. In the last few years the RCD's purpose has expanded
to include preserving agriculture, educating the public, and working for the
conservation of natural resources. In addition, the SVRCD now wishes to
include all residents of the district, not just the agricultural community. Our The
Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District's mission is to enhance the
conservation and economic stability of natural resources by coordinating and
supporting landowner activities, both public and private, and by providing
information, education, and project implementation to residents within all
watersheds in the district boundaries
