She graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in Economics. She spent three seasons as a wrangler on a horse and cattle ranch in New Mexico and guided pack trips through the Rocky Mountains. Most recently, she worked as a mule packer in the Sierra Nevada, resupplying backcountry trail crews across the Inyo National Forest. She is excited to work with the RCD's water program, helping to build resilient agricultural communities. Outside of work, she loves spending time with horses and dogs, and hiking in Siskiyou County.
