Quin McDowell is a graduate of the Oregon Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in Environmental Science. With a strong background in hydrogeology, riparian restoration, and project management, Quin brings a well-rounded and practical perspective to his work in natural resource management. He is proud to join the RCD, where he focuses on mitigating the effects of wildfire and supporting a range of other environmental projects as needed. A longtime advocate for the region, Quin cares deeply about the health and resilience of Siskiyou County’s landscapes and communities. Outside of work, Quin enjoys spending time outdoors, flying drones, and quality time with his family.
