Tenaya Bearmar

Position: Water and Land Conservation Project Coordinator

Tenaya graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Sustainability. She came to the SVRCD as the Water and Healthy Soils fellow, throughGrizzlyCorps, an AmeriCorps program run through the Center for Law, Energy & Environment at UC Berkeley. Tenaya was raised on a homestead in the eastern hills of San Diego and went on to work in the field of regenerative agriculture and conservation before coming to the RCD. On evenings and weekends, you can find her reading, painting, enjoying nature and climbing mountains. She recently joined the RCD staff and continues to coordinate the Water and Land Conservation projects.
