William H. Hirt is currently the Vice Chair andhas been a Board Director since March 2005. He has lived in Siskiyou County since August 1991, when he joined the faculty at College of the Siskiyous as the geology instructor. He learned about the RCD’s work through conversations with another of its board members, and hopes to be able to draw upon his professional background to assist the district in addressing some of the geological and hydrological questions it deals with. He served as Chairman of the Board until January 2019.
